Nantes Sound, a European project that reveals citizens voices

05/05/14 - Call for seed from Europe ! Take part in the project !

Ollla at work, Collectif fil and Hep from Home is inviting you to take part of the project Graine de Jardin, the 2014 NCG Cooperation awarded project.

How? Simply sending to Nantes a bunch of any particular seeds from your country and possibly a postcard by mail. The address is: 1  - Boulevard Babin Chevaye 44200 Nantes, France.

The collection of seeds from all Europe around is the first part of the intervention by Ollla at work, which will follow a temporary installation in June in the public space of the Nizanerie, Ile de Nantes, in the environment of the aromatic garden planned  and built by Collectif Fil with inhabitants.

After this will be another action involving the people’s participation.

In which way? Locals and anyone living in the area will be invited to ‘destroy’ the installation during the last day of displaying, sowing seeds in the first planters during the opening of the multiethnic garden and also taking some other seeds and send them in another place in Europe, continuing, in this way, the initial journey of the seeds. In this phase, moreover, a surprise will be proposed for the entire participant of both phases!

You can decide to be part of the Graine de Jardin community and doesn’t matter where you are. The community is not only the local one which will take part to the events in May but there is even the European one. You can be part of this simply sending us the seeds!

Moreover, Graine de Jardin wants to invite to reflect upon the meaning of exchange and citizenship through actions on public space.
