Theater for social activity

NGO Culturale Link d’Altamura (Italie), Centre Culturel de New Vilnius (Lituanie) and Factotum (Nantes).

The project:
Theater for Social Activity uses forum theater as a tool for social inclusion and reflection on social issues. The theater-forum, from the theater of the oppressed, consists in using theater as a means of knowing and transforming reality. Theater for Social Activity proposes to address the issue of active citizenship, particularly in terms of the relationship between young people and politicians.

From 30 October to 04 November 2012, 11 young people (18 - 30 years old) from Europe (France, Italy, Lithuania) met in Altamura (Italy) for an intercultural exchange around forum theater and youth citizenship.

This initiative echoed another project "Demosmakerz", also led by the Factotum association in conjunction with other European partners, which questions the relationship between young people and politics.
